AUTISM EXPERTISE

Autistic women and nonbinary people often come to my practice after years of being overlooked and under identified, feeling perplexed by their sense of otherness, isolation, difficulties with sustaining friendships and fitting in. While some find a sense of acceptance and relief with a diagnosis, many others continue to struggle with anxiety, traumatic histories, and hopelessness. With extensive knowledge in sensory processing integration, executive functioning, emotional regulation, and trauma, I am attuned to the complexities and vast variability of each individual. I offer individual therapy and Autism support groups to help my clients safely unpack their emotions, reclaim their identities, and become empowered. An example of my work is featured in episode nine of the podcast The Loudest Girl in the World by Lauren Ober.

I am dedicated to establishing a relationship of understanding, compassion, and authenticity with my clients. Our work is grounded in my committment to supporting neurodiversity and assisting Autistic people to embrace their true identities through self-discovery, self-determination, and belonging.
